Friday was our last day of school and the last day of Grade 4 for everybody. Wow, what a year! We hope everybody has a safe and awesome summer. This year, we had 16 countries represented in our class. Here are the flags that show the countries that one of our parents came from. (For the record, we had a total of 23 students pass through 4A this year)

We had a visit today from our former counselor (from 2010-2013), Steve. He was in Tokyo on his way back to the US from his international school in India. It was great to catch up with him!

On Wednesday next week (June 18th) we will be having our class party. We would like some ideas from you about what we could do in that time. It will be after lunch for two periods. Please make a comment about what we could do.

Today was our 7th day in the mini-economy that we made in Grade Four. Our businesses are designing, manufacturing and marketing games to the Grade One students downstairs. We had our ups and downs but have been productive since the start. Next week we sell games to the Grade Ones.

One of the difficult tasks now is trying to decide how much to sell the games for. We want to make a good profit but don’t want to prices to be so high that they won’t buy them. What do you think?

This week for homework, we would like you to continue reading for at least 15 minutes a day and complete some of your remaining Mathletics assignments. Next week is the last week of school and the homework will be the same. A reminder that Mathletics will be available this summer but we will not give any assignments. This means you can do Live Mathletics as much as possible. Once a week would be perfect!

No need for this or any excuse because you have no homework.
