Monday: Look, cover, say, write and check these words:
worker 2. telegraph 3. ingenuity 4. environment 5. society
Then use the word in an interesting sentence.
Tuesday: Log in to Typing Club (www.typingclub.com) and complete 25 minutes of touch-typing exercises
Wednesday: Ask an adult to describe two situations where they use fractions in everyday life. Ask these questions: How did you use fractions? Did you have to convert this to percent or decimals? Write your answers in a short paragraph in your homework notebook.
Tuesday: Look at the blog post called “Kid President: how to be an inventor.” What are some important inventions that we need now and why? Answer in 3-5 sentences in the comments section of the blog post.
Wednesday: Think of 3 ideas for a short story for a character that lives in the time of the Industrial Revolution. The character should do the same job as you were assigned for the story (ex. tanner, coal miner, chimney sweep)
